The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be made official very, very soon, but leaks surrounding the device just keep on coming. This latest one is pretty interesting: it’s an alleged brochure of the Note 8, and it details the device’s feature set quite a bit.
Turns out, the folks over at Ausdroid managed to get a hold of the Galaxy Note 8’s brochure, so naturally, several key specifications of the upcoming device are detailed in it. These include a 6.3-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity Display – complete with S Pen support, of course – an iris scanner, wireless charging, and IP68 water and dust resistance.
On top of that, the dual-camera configuration of the Galaxy Note 8 is detailed too. Not only is Samsung retaining the excellent dual-pixel camera on the Note 8, it will supposedly come with f/1.7 lenses, optical image stabilisation, and 2x optical zoom. Chances are, the Note 8’s dual-camera system will be quite similar to the iPhone 7 Plus’.
These are definitely interesting details on the Galaxy Note 8, but they’re not exactly new: the brochure essentially confirm previous leaks of the Note 8’s feature set. While this brochure doesn’t give us any new info on the device, it does add credibility to what we already know.
Previous leak of the Galaxy Note 8.
Samsung will take the wraps off the Galaxy Note 8 next week on 23 August. Set to be the most refined Note device yet, the Note 8 may just be another winner for the Korean company.
