Huawei has introduced a new colour option for the Chinese company’s latest flagship, the Huawei P10 Plus. While the device was already available in Graphite Black at launch, this new colour – dubbed Bright Black – isn’t quite the same: it has a glossy finish instead of matte.
Although we only have product renderings of the new P10 Plus colour so far, we imagine it’s similar to the Jet Black iPhone 7 devices. Considering just how prone to scratches the Jet Black iPhones are, it will be interesting to see if the Bright Black P10 Plus will suffer from the same issue.
Beyond the new colour, every other aspect of the Bright Black P10 Plus is similar to the standard model. It still comes with a 5.5-inch 1440p IPS display, a HiSilicon Kirin 960 processor paired with 6GB of RAM, 128GB of expandable storage, and a 3,750mAh battery.
In the camera department, the P10 Plus has a Leica-certified dual-camera system. Consisting of a 20MP monochrome sensor and a 12MP RGB sensor, the P10 Plus also has an f/1.8 aperture complete with optical image stabilisation. The front-facing camera, on the other hand, is an 8MP shooter.

Currently, the Huawei P10 Plus in Bright Black is only available in China for 4,888 Chinese yuan, which comes up to about RM3,145. It still remains to be seen if the new colour will be made available in Malaysia as well.
