The prices for Samsung’s flagship smartphones keep tumbling. The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ are both going through some massive discounts ahead of the upcoming Galaxy Note 8 launch, which means those who’ve been eyeing that Galaxy S8+ should seriously look into buying one now.
While the Qoo10 promo for the Galaxy S8 (which went to as low as RM2,500) has ended, but you can find it for ever so slightly less (RM1, to be exact), on 11street, where Tesco is selling the S8 for just RM2,499 – a full RM800 off the RM3,299 RRP.
Meanwhile, if you’re looking at the larger Galaxy S8+ (and have no need for the S Pen), you’ll be glad to know that prices for this model is a lot more palatable from the original RM3,699 price tag. In fact, for the past week or so you can find them for less than RM3,000 in Lazada.
The same seller who’s offering the Galaxy S8 for RM2,598 last week is also offering the S8+ at just RM2,948 today – or RM751 off the RRP. Or, if you hurry, you can get one for even less at RM2,940.
At these prices, the Galaxy S8 and S8+ definitely are worth the investment. That said, we are closer than ever to the global launch of the Galaxy Note 8. Even though we basically know almost everything there is to know about the device, Samsung may still have some surprises in store.
