Despite being released in Malaysia back in January, OPPO is still hanging on to its R9s smartphone in our market. In fact, the smartphone can be obtained in the form of so many variants including the upcoming Green Edition.
Given its rather unique colorway, OPPO has stated there will be limited quantities of R9s Green Edition coming to Malaysia very soon. Nevertheless, do note that the phone still has the same specifications as per standard version of R9s in our market.
Hence, the R9s Green Edition still carries a 5.5-inch full HD AMOLED display and running on Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor alongside 4GB of RAM, 64GB internal storage, and, 3010mAh battery. It is also equipped with 16-megapixels f/1.7 rear camera that is powered by Sony IMX398 sensor as well as another 16-megapixels front camera.
Available for pre-order starting from 11 August at OPPO Malaysia’s online store as well as OPPO Concept Stores through the country, the OPPO R9s Green Edition is priced at RM 1,798 – similar to existing Gold, Rose Gold, and Black variants. Customers who purchase the phone at the newly opened OPPO Flagship Store in Suria KLCC will receive a bonus though in the form of free laser engraving service.
