The Nexus 6P was considered to be one of the most interesting Android smartphones back when it was released in 2015. After all, it’s the first Nexus device to be manufactured by a Chinese phone maker – it’s also the last flagship Nexus smartphone. Well, if you’re still keen to get the 6P, it can be purchased for RM1,899 now.
Of course, this isn’t the price for an imported unit: it’s an official set of the Nexus 6P from Huawei Malaysia. According to DirectD, the 6P even comes with a 12-month one-to-one exchange warranty now. However, only the Gold variant is available for purchase.
In terms of specifications, the Nexus 6P is still quite a respectable smartphone, although its Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset isn’t the most impressive SoC right now. Nonetheless, the 6P does feature a sharp and vibrant 5.7-inch 1440p AMOLED display, 3GB of RAM, 64GB of non-expandable storage, 12.3MP rear and 8MP front-facing cameras, as well as a 3,450mAh battery.
Now, RM1,899 doesn’t exactly make the Nexus 6P an affordable smartphone – especially for a 2015 flagship – but its stock Android experience may just appeal to certain consumers. If you’re keen to get one, you can do so on DirectD’s online store.
