MSI’s latest high-end gaming laptop, the MSI GT75VR Titan, will be available for pre-order in Malaysia very, very soon. Retailing from RM13,499, it’s most definitely not an affordable gaming laptop, but it does feature a number of very interesting hardware.
Much like it’s bigger brother, the MSI GT83VR Titan, the GT75VR features a mechanical keyboard. However, it’s not exactly a traditional one: it’s a low-profile mechanical keyboard. Made in collaboration with SteelSeries, we’ll definitely take the keyboard for a spin in our upcoming hands on of the laptop.
Other hardware of the GT75VR are very impressive too. It features a 17.3-inch 1080p 120Hz display, an Intel Core i7-7820HK or i7-7700HQ processor paired with 16GB of DDR4 RAM, up to 512GB of fast NVMe SSD storage, and a 1TB 7200rpm HDD. For our market, the GT75VR can be configured with either a single Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 or GTX 1070 GPU. Unfortunately, there’s no SLI option here.
Available for pre-order exclusively on Lazada from 1 to 13 August next month, the GT75VR will come with a couple of notable freebies. Every purchase of the GTX 1070 model will come with a RM799 ViewSonic VX2757 27-inch gaming monitor, while the higher-end GTX 1080 model is bundled with a Warlord Phantom gaming chair worth RM899. Of course, only those who place their pre-order on Lazada will be eligible for these freebies.
The MSI GT75VR Titan retails at RM13,499 and RM17,999 for the GTX 1070 and GTX 1080 models respectively. The GTX 1070 variant comes with a Core i7-7700HQ processor and a 256GB NVMe SSD, while the GTX 1080 model comes with an i7-7820HK processor along with double the SSD storage at 512GB. The GT75VR will start shipping on 25 August.
