Asus has a new motherboard, and it’s called Expedition B250-V7. Unlike the company’s most recent motherboards, the Expedition B250-V7 is mainly made to be used in Cyber Cafes. This of course means that this motherboard won’t be equipped with unnecessary components, but will, at least, be somewhat durable compared to other B250 chipset mainboards in the market.
That said, Asus did, thankfully, bestow the Expedition B250-V7 motherboard with a rather “flamboyant” colour scheme – a mishmash of red and black. That aside, being a B250 motherboard means that the Expedition B250-V7 is compatible with Intel LGA1151 processors. When it components, this motherboard is fitted with four DIMM RAM slots (dual channel).
In addition, Asus’ Expedition B250-V7 also has one PCIe 3.0 x16 slot; two PCIe 3.0 x16 (x4 mode) slots; and three PCIe 3.0 x1 slot. USB connectivity options include six each of USB 3.1 and USB 2.0 ports. Besides that, this motherboard comes equipped with six SATA 6Gbps ports as well. It’s worth keeping in mind that the Expedition B250-V7 comes in the ATX form factor.
Unfortunately, Asus made no mention of the local pricing and date of availability of its Expedition B250-V7 motherboard. Despite this, we do expect the motherboard to be moderately priced when it becomes available.
