We’re officially less than one month before the announcement of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, which means that the rumours and leaks for this device will be coming thick and fast.
While a dual-camera setup on the Galaxy Note 8 is almost all but confirmed – the company already announced a new dual-camera technology at MWC Shanghai 2017 – popular Apple analyst Kuo Ming-Chi lists a few more technical details which should excite those looking forward for the device’s release. The dual camera setup will consist of a 13MP main unit complemented by a 12MP telephoto lens.
Both camera sensors will feature optical image stabilisation, which sounds like a key advantage for the Galaxy Note 8 – the iPhone 7 Plus’ secondary unit lacks OIS and has a smaller aperture.
Besides that, Samsung is also said to be introducing a new Deep Blue colourway to debut on the Galaxy Note 8. There are no images yet to show it, but we can expect it to leak in the coming days.
What has leaked, though, may be what is the final design of the device. Images of the device in cases made by popular accessories brand Spigen show both the front and back of the Galaxy Note 8, which corroborates with the dual-camera back and unchanged Infinity Display.
Expect more details on the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 to trickle out of the rumour mills in the coming days.
