There are plenty of fitness trackers readily available in the market, and now, even Milo is releasing one. Dubbed the Milo Champ Band, it’s a fitness tracker targeted at children between the age of 7 to 12.
Of course, the Champ Band can be used by virtually anyone, but the fitness tracker works in tandem with Milo’s own Champions app, which provides nutritional information – among other things – based on the recommended age group. Aside from that, the app also comes with a reward system of some sort: avatars and content can be unlocked with points.
Naturally, the app is currently available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The Champ Band itself, on the other hand, is really your typical fitness tracker. It can display the time, track step count, calories burned, distance covered, and even active time.
This isn’t exactly a new product: the Champ Band has been launched in other regions, and Malaysia is the latest country to receive it. For RM139 (and this is a promotional price), it’s not the most affordable fitness tracker – the more feature-packed Xiaomi Mi Band 2, for one, is slightly more affordable at RM129 – but the app feature set may justify its asking price.
If you’re keen to get your hands on the Milo Champ Band, it is now available for purchase on Lazada; the starter kit even comes with a 400g pack of Milo. From today until 26 July, Lazada is offering free delivery for the Champ Band, but only in the Klang Valley area.
