Apple has just released software updates across all its platforms. If you are using an iOS 10, macOS Sierra, tvOS, or watchOS device, head on to the settings page now to check for an update. The updates available today include iOS 10.3.3, macOS Sierra 10.12.6, tvOS 10.2.2, and watchOS 3.2.3.
While these are not major updates with new features and such, it is important that you update your device when possible because they contain bug fixes, as well as security improvements. These should probably the last updates before Apple releases its next major updates – iOS 11 and macOS High Sierra.
The updates are pretty similar across all devices. iOS 10.3.3 includes “bug fixes and improves the security of your iPhone or iPad”, macOS 10.12.6 “improves the security, stability, and compatibility of your Mac”, and watchOS 3.2.3 “includes improvements and bug fixes”. You may update your iOS, watchOS, and tvOS devices via the settings app. macOS update can be found on the Mac App Store.
For Mac and Windows iTunes users, Apple also released iTunes 12.6.2 update, featuring minor app and performance improvements. Do ensure you are connected to Wi-Fi before performing the update. Check out Apple now for more information about its latest security updates rolled out today.
