Alongside the announcement of Ryzen Threadripper’s pricing and release date, AMD also took the opportunity to reveal additional details regarding Ryzen 3 processor. Generally, these chips will finally extend Ryzen reach to the entry-level market as other segments have been covered by Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 7.
According to its announcement today, Ryzen 3 will be made available in two flavors. One of them bring the Ryzen 3 1200 which is a 4-cores and 4-threads chip running at base clock of 3.1GHz and boost speed of 3.4GHz. The other one in the list is the Ryzen 3 1300X which has similar 4C/4T setup but running at a higher base clock of 3.5GHz as well as boost speed of 3.7GHz.
These two new Ryzen 3 processors will be available in stores throughout the world starting from 27 July onwards. Despite these revelations, AMD is still keeping the price tags for Ryzen 3 processors under wraps though.
At the same time, we are also waiting for further information from AMD regarding the release of Ryzen 3 in Malaysia. We’ll let you know if there is any updates from them when the time comes.
