Designed for users that want to have high quality audio while being on the go, Sol Republic today has launched two wireless headsets for consumers in Malaysia. The first in the list is the Amps Air earbuds which feature ultra-light form factor and come standard with its own storage case that also acts as a portable charger.
Equipped with a 2,200mAh battery, this allows the case to charge Amps Air for at least 15 times. Alternatively, it can also be used to charge user’s smartphone as well as since the case also features a separate USB port.
The Amps Air earbuds themselves have a battery life of around 3 hours which might not be long enough for an average runner going through marathon distance but not bad for daily commute and gym workouts. Made to withstand sweat and rain, the earbuds also come with integrated dual microphones which allows them to deliver crisp voice calls.
Another product that Sol Republic has launched in Malaysia today is the Relays Sport Wireless which suitable for users that prefer to have a more traditional sports wireless headset since it has a cord that tied each earphone and allow users to hang them on their neck when not in use.
According to Sol Republic, the battery within Relay Sports Wireless is able to last up to 8 hours and is equipped with quick charge capability that allows the headphones to deliver one hour of music by charging them for just 10 minutes. The company also provides them with two separate audio profiles that are designed for indoor and outdoor usages.
Priced at RM 900 and RM 400 respectively, both Sol Republic Amps Air and Relays Sport Wireless headphones can be obtained through RadioShack branches throughout Malaysia. The brand’s distributor for Malaysia and Singapore, Dynamic Fox also stated that they can be purchased through Lazada Malaysia but we believe that might only be possible slightly later since we have yet to sport official units for either products on the e-commerce platform.
