Bezel-less smartphones have been catching on lately. From the impressive Xiaomi Mi Mix to the more recent Samsung Galaxy S8+, more phone makers will likely capitalise on the trend too. Well, Sharp – which has introduced almost bezel-less phones like the Aquos Crystal 2 and Aquos mini – may be launching the most impressive-looking bezel-less phones yet later this month.
Dubbed the Sharp FS8016 and FS8010, these two devices are said to feature full-front displays. Based on renders of these two devices, they certainly look very sleek. In fact, they even look similar to the Essential Phone with the display wrapping around the front-facing camera.
Other specifications of these two phones are rather interesting too: the FS8016 is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset, while the FS8010 will come with a Snapdragon 630 or 330 SoC. Aside from their chipsets, both devices are rumoured to ship with 5.5-inch 2048 x 1080 displays, 4 or 6GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, two 12MP rear cameras, 8MP front-facing shooters, and Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box.

While the Sharp FS8016 and FS8010 appear to be rather interesting truly bezel-less smartphones, it’s worth noting that only renders of the devices have surfaced so far. Nonetheless, we’ll find out for ourselves if these devices aren’t just a rumour come 17 July.
