Zotac has unveiled its newest graphics card called the GTX 1080 Ti AMP Extreme Core Edition. Interestingly, this graphics card is actually a revision of the company’s previously released GTX 1080 Ti AMP Extreme card.
When it comes to design, the Zotac GTX 1080 Ti AMP Extreme Core Edition looks pretty much identical to its older brother. It features the same 2.5-slot-thick cooling solution along with similar cooler shroud designs. Connectivity options of this graphics card include: three DisplayPort 1.4 ports; and one HDMI 2.0b and DVI ports each.
The main differences between the GTX 1080 Ti AMP Extreme Core Edition and its predecessor are their clock speeds. Zotac’s newest graphics card comes with base and boost clock speeds of 1607MHz and 1721MHz respectively; these clock speeds are slightly lower compared to the one’s featured on the Zotac GTX 1080 Ti AMP Extreme.
Knowing all of the above, it can safely be assumed that the Zotac GTX 1080 Ti AMP Extreme Core Edition will very likely come with a lower price compared to the older, more powerful GTX 1080 Ti AMP Extreme card. That said, Zotac has, unfortunately, not release pricing and date of availability for this graphics card yet.
