Since its first model back in 2011, Razer Blade gaming notebook has always come in black regardless of its screen size. That has now changed as the company for the first time ever is offering one of its Blade notebook in gunmetal grey.
This particular colorway is available with the newly unveiled refreshed version of its Razer Blade Stealth. Aside from the new paintjob, the 2017 refreshed model also features a bigger 13.3-inch IGZO touch display as opposed to the original 12.5-inch non-touch display. At the same time, the display also features an improved native resolution of 3200 x 1800.
The new 13.3-inch model also received processor bump in the form of Intel Core i7-7500U which matches the previous 12.5-inch 4K variant. With PCIe solid state drive options from 256GB to 1TB, the laptop also carries 16GB RAM as standard.
In a rather interesting move, the gunmetal grey version of 13.3-inch Blade Stealth actually does not come with the famed hate-it-or-love-it Chroma RGB keyboard but is equipped with white backlit keyboard instead. For users that prefer to have the customizable rainbow keyboard, they have to opt for the black version instead.
Just like the original model, the new 13.3-inch Blade Stealth is not equipped with discrete GPU but still support Razer Core external graphics card enclosure via its Thunderbolt 3 USB-C port. Price-wise, the notebook starts at USD 1,399 (about RM 5,958) and will be released worldwide starting in July although we don’t expect it to be available in Malaysia any time soon.
