Lenovo has announced the new ThinkPad P51s workstation, a thin and light laptop that’s just 1.99kg but packed with an Nvidia Quadro M520M GPU. The company also refreshed its range of ThinkPads with new 7th gen Kaby Lake processors.
The Lenovo ThinkPad P51s workstation is designed for engineers and architects, and is built with legendary ThinkPad durability with military-standard testing. It’s powered by an Intel Core i7-7600U paired with 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and a generous 512GB PCIe SSD.
Besides that, the Lenovo ThinkPad P51s workstation comes in three display options: Full HD IPS, Full HD IPS with touch, and 4K IPS. The device will be priced from RM6,999 (Full HD IPS), and will be available from mid-July.
Meanwhile, the rest of the ThinkPad series in Malaysia has also been refreshed with Kaby Lake processors. The ThinkPad X1 Carbon, ThinkPad X1 Yoga, ThinkPad E470, ThinkPad X270, and ThinkPad 13 now all run on Kaby Lake, which enables support for USB-C Gen 2.
The refreshed Kaby Lake ThinkPad laptops are now available in Lenovo retail outlets in Malaysia.
