Lenovo recently has introduced two new smartphones targeted at users that are looking for affordable smartphones in the form of E4 and E4 Plus. Since this particular segment of the market is highly competitive, the company believes that both devices still have several factors that make them stand out from other similarly priced smartphones in the market.
One such factor is their display which Lenovo claimed to be quite bright and have vibrant output. While the displays on both smartphones have the same HD resolution, E4’s screen size is slightly smaller though at 5-inch as compared to E4’s 5.5-inch screen.
Protected by water-repellent nanocoating, Lenovo also claimed that both smartphones also have long lasting battery life especially E4 Plus which comes with 5,000mAh battery. Even though the 2,800mAh battery on E4 is considered average by today’s standard, the company still claimed that the smartphone able to last all day long.
Not to forget, the cameras on both of these Android 7.1 smartphones are said to be top notch as well, even in low light condition. The E4 comes standard with an 8-megapixels autofocus rear camera while the E4 Plus features higher resolution 13-megapixels sensor for its rear camera. Both also carry the same 5-megapixels fixed focus front camera.
As for other hardware, the E4 comes with either Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 or 427 alongside 16GB internal storage. The E4 Plus on another hand is powered by Qualcom Snapdragon 427 and carries up to 32GB of internal storage. Both devices are also equipped with 2GB of RAM.
All in all, there are certainly plenty of bold claims from Lenovo regarding the capabilities of E4 and E4 Plus. If they hold true, many users should also appreciate the fact that the E4 is priced at USD 129.99 (about RM 554) while the E4 Plus is listed at USD 179.99 (about RM 767). Unfortunately, we don’t have release and pricing details for them in Malaysia at this moment though.
