One of the most anticipated games of 2017, Destiny 2, finally has a release date for the PC. Folks at Activision has confirmed that the game will be made available on 24 October. That said, Destiny 2 will be released a lot earlier on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles (6 September).
In addition to the PC release date announcement, Activision has also mentioned that the PC beta will begin around late August. The game was supposed to be made available for pre-order today, according to Activision, but Destiny 2 still isn’t listed on Battle.net at the time of writing.
That aside, Destiny 2 was also bestowed with a brand new trailer, which was premiered during Sony’s E3 2017 press conference. Other information that was announced regarding Destiny 2 on PC are that it’ll come with uncapped framerates, 4K and 21:9 resolution support, and will take advantage of extra CPU cores too.
Activision has also revealed the exclusive “goodies” that’ll come with Destiny 2 on PlayStation 4. These include “a competitive multiplayer map, a three-player co-op Strike, a blue and white coloured ship, legendary armour sets, and an exotic sniper rifle.” It’s worth noting, however, that these content will only be exclusive to PS4 players until Fall 2018.
