Two months after HTC Malaysia reduced the RPP of its previous HTC U Ultra flagship by RM400, the company has created a trade-in program to reduce the price of the mid-range HTC U Play – also by RM400.
The 5.2-inch HTC U Play is a mid-range device powered by a Mediatek MT6755 Helio P10 with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. There’s also a 2,500mAh battery, 16MP rear and 16MP front-facing shooters, with the rear camera having OIS, PDAF and Auto HDR functions. The HTC U Play runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
For a limited time only, HTC is offering a trade-in program for the HTC U Play. Those interested can bring in any smartphone in working condition to trade in, and get RM400 off the RM1,899 U Play.
According to the terms and conditions, HTC is accepting all smartphones as long as they are in working condition, and the promotion cannot be combined with any other offer or promotion. We’ve reached out to HTC Malaysia representatives to check on more details (such as the trade in locations), and will update the post when we get a response.
