Amid all the leaks and rumours surrounding the OnePlus 5, the Chinese company itself has released its very own teaser of the device, confirming the dual-camera system. Not only is this our first official look at the design of the OnePlus 5, Carl Pei – the co-founder of OnePlus – also teased the audio recording capability of the upcoming phone.
OnePlus posted a teaser of the OnePlus 5 on its Twitter account, showing the back design of the flagship. Not surprisingly, it looks exactly like a previous leaked render of the phone. Aside from the dual-camera system, the OnePlus 5 seems to sport tapered edges too, along with a rather sleek-looking – though familiar – antenna line design.

On OnePlus’ official forum, Pei also posted a video showing the audio recording capability of the OnePlus 5. In comparison to the OnePlus 3, the OnePlus 5 certainly performed better; take a listen for yourself in the video above.
Looking at what we’ve learned from leaked information and rumours, the OnePlus 5 will likely feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, up to a whopping 8GB of RAM, as well as 64 or 128GB of internal storage. If the OnePlus 5 is anything like its predecessor, it may not support expandable storage too.
The OnePlus 5 will be officially unveiled on 20 June 2017. It’ll be interesting to see how much the device will be priced at; it’s rumoured to be OnePlus’ most costly smartphone yet.
