In a rather interesting approach to gaming products, Logitech has gathered inspiration from both gaming and lifestyle world in order to come out with its two new gaming headsets: the G433 and G233 Prodigy. The idea is that these new headsets not only have to perform well for gaming but also stylish enough to be used away from one’s gaming PC or console.
This is exactly the reason why Logitech ended up wrapping hydrophobic, stain-resistant fabric into the new G433 headset complete with matching sports-mesh earpads alongside additional set of earpads made from microfiber. The G233 Prodigy on another hand receives soft-touch finish in black colorway while also features sports-mesh earpads but in G-Series’ signature Cyan Blue colorway.
When it comes to technology, both headsets are slightly different from each other though. While G233 Prodigy uses standard 3.5mm audio jack, the G433 comes with a USB-based DAC that provides 7.1 DTS Headphone:X surround sound features although users still can choose to plug it in into normal 3.5mm audio jack.
Meanwhile, both headsets are equipped with Logitech’s own 40mm Pro-G audio drivers and detachable boom mics. They are also accompanied by several additional cables that enables them to be used with smartphones and tablets as well as popular gaming consoles including PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
Set to be available in Malaysia this July, the new G433 carries a price tag of RM 499 while the G233 Prodigy is priced at RM 369. Do check with your favorite game hardware retailers to know their actual in-store arrival dates.
