The OnePlus 5 will be announced later this month, and it seems like the device will be one of the most well-equipped Android smartphones once it’s made official. Apparently, the phone will come with a whopping 8GB RAM.
This bit of news comes courtesy of Evan Blass, one of the most well-known leakers in the smartphone space. According to him, the source code of the OnePlus 5’s teaser landing page on Amazon India reveal that the device will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor paired with 8GB of RAM; most modern laptops don’t even come with that much RAM.
"OnePlus 5 powered by 2.35GHz octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor and 8GB of RAM will release on 22 June 2017 as an exclusive at Amazon.in."

Aside from these two information, the source code also revealed that the OnePlus 5 will be releasing in India on 22 June. Considering the fact that the phone will be officially announced on 20 June, this is a pretty timely launch for the Indian market.
Based on previous leaks and rumours of the OnePlus 5, the upcoming flagship smartphone will likely feature a dual-camera setup too. If OnePlus’ teaser of the OnePlus 5’s camera performance is any indication, the device should be a very capable shooter.

Although it’s not made official yet, the OnePlus 5 will very likely feature 8GB of RAM. Nonetheless, all will be revealed come 20 June; that’s when the device will be officially unveiled.
