Facebook is currently rolling out an update to its WhatsApp, bringing filters and albums to your chats. With the update, you can finally add some filters to your photos or videos before sending it, and multiple pictures you receive will automatically be grouped into an album.
Available on the App Store right now, just update your WhatsApp, and restart the app. Once done, the next time you send a photo, video and even GIF file, there will be a little notification at the bottom telling you to swipe up for filters. There are currently five options – Pop, B&W, Cool, Chrome and Film. Filters works when sending individual files, and even when sending a batch of photos and videos to your friends, just swipe to each individual file and swipe up to access the filters.
As for automatic albums, when you send multiple images or videos in a chat, they will now be automatically grouped into a single album. Previously, a group of pictures and videos will be sent individually, quickly drowning your older messages. Finally, the update also makes it easier to reply to individual messages in a thread; all you need to do is swipe right on the message you’d like to reply to.
Check out the App Store now to update your WhatsApp.
