At the on-going WWDC 2017, Apple also took the curtains off its latest watch operating system – watchOS 4. It features a new Siri watch face, a personalised Activity coaching, a brand new music experience, and more.
The new watchOS 4 makes the Apple Watch more intelligent than before with its new Siri watch face. Just raise your wrist, and Siri will automatically display relevant information to you based on the time of the day, and daily routines. It will also show relevant information from apps such as Activity, Alarms, Calendar, Maps, Reminds and more.
Working out with watchOS 4 is also better than before. The updated Workout app can now track pool swim workouts, and has new motion and heart rate algorithms for High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workouts. It can combine all your different workouts to give you overall calorie and time measurements. The new GymKit allows your Apple Watch to communicate with fitness machines, so it can track your workout sessions on your favourite cardio equipment such as treadmills, elliptical, indoor bikes and stair steppers.
The Activity app on watchOS 4 will also encourage users to move about more to achieve their daily goals with personalised notifications. It will also suggest to users what they can do to match yesterday’s activity levels.

Other notable changes on watchOS 4 include a new redesigned Music app that automatically syncs your music, new watch faces including characters from Toy Story, and the ability to make use of person to person payments with Apple Pay.
Apple also introduced new summer band colours so you can have more choices than ever to express your personalised style. Some of the bands introduced include the latest Nike Sport Band options that were introduced earlier, Pride Edition Woven Nylon in rainbow stripe, and new vibrant Sports Band colours.
