Possibly a sign of things to come, several images of PlayStation 4 1TB in gold color have appeared online. Not only that, these gold PS4 apparently is priced lower than existing market price.
One of them was spotted at Walmart with a price tag of USD 249 (about RM 1,066) and when the customer tried to purchase it, the outlet’s cash register machine locked up and its staff quickly stored it away. As comparison, PS4 1TB is currently priced at USD 299.99 (about RM 1,285) in United States.
Another source who claimed to be a staff at Target has stated that the console will be made available on 9 June. From both photos, the gold colored PS4 will also come with matching DualShock 4 controller which has been on sale separately since September last year.
Since these images came from US and the fact that Sony Interactive Entertainment has yet to confirmed the existence of the console, it is best not to throw money to your screen just yet. Even if these picture are real, there is no guarantee that the gold PS4 will be released into our market unless confirmed otherwise by SIE.
