Just like the newly announced Inspiron 27 7000 and Inspiron 24 5000 AIO PCs, Dell has also launched yet another machine that is powered exclusively by AMD chip in Computex 2017. In fact, the company has informed us that its new Inspiron Gaming Desktop is actually designed around the AMD Ryzen processor.
That being said, it can still be obtained with AMD A10-9700 or A12-9800 APUs aside from Ryzen 5 1400, Ryzen 5 1600X, or Ryzen 7 1700X processor. In terms of graphics card though, customers can still choose an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5 graphics card for their Inspiron Gaming Desktop if the Radeon RX560 2GB GDDR5, RX570 4GB GDDR5, or RX580 8GB GDDR5 doesn’t suit their needs.
With the option of up to 32GB DDR4-2400 RAM, the system can also be equipped with up to 256GB M.2 solid state drive and 2TB 7200rpm hard drive. A tray-load DVD-RW drive also comes as standard on Inspiron Gaming Desktop while customers can choose to have Polar Blue LED illumination on the system’s chasis as an add-on aesthetic accessory.
As for pricing, the Dell Inspiron Gaming Desktop will start at USD 599.99 (about RM 2,571) when it heads on to United States very soon. However, the release date and pricing for it in Malaysia are not yet know for the time being.
