Computex might not be Dell’s traditional event but the company has decided to announce a number of new products anyway. One such product is the new Inspiron 27 7000 all-in-one PC which is interestingly running on AMD Ryzen processor.
We can’t confirm whether it is the first such AIO in the world but it is indeed a bold move by Dell as this particular AIO will not be offered with Intel processor. The only CPU options available for the Inspiron 27 7000 AIO are Ryzen 5 1400 and Ryzen 7 1700.
Equipped with 27-inch InfinityEdge IPS display, it can be obtained with either full HD or 4K resolution. Again, Dell has also went exclusive route with AMD for the AIO’s graphics card since it can only obtained with either Radeon RX560 4GB GDDR5 or Radeon RX580 8GB GDDR5 graphics card.
Memory-wise, the Inspiron 27 7000 AIO can be equipped with up to 32GB DDR4-2400 RAM together with dual storage drive configuration that is consisted of 256GB PCIe NVMe solid state drive and 1TB 5400rpm hard drive.
Meanwhile , Dell has also launched the lower end Inspiron 24 5000 AIO as well. While it is not powered by AMD Ryzen processors, the AIO still exclusively tied to AMD processor with either A10-9700E or A12-9800E APUs.
Equipped with 23.8-inch full HD InfinityEdge IPS display (touch option is also available), it also carries AMD Radeon RX560 4GB GDDR5 graphics card as standard. Its memory and storage configuration still similar to its higher end sibling, the Inspiron 27 7000 AIO.
Price-wise, the Inspiron 27 7000 AIO is going to start at USD 999.99 (about RM 4,284) and the Inspiron 25 5000 AIO will go for USD 699 (about RM 2,995) onwards. They will be released in United States this month but we don’t have no indication if they are going to make their way to Malaysia anytime soon.
