Two months ago, Celcom has introduced group data sharing for its First postpaid customers through a feature called GBshare. Soon, the feature will also include multiple smartphones to be shared among friends and family.
Available for Celcom First Gold Plus and First Platinum postpaid customers, they are able to obtain up to six smartphones through this program. If this sounds rather confusing to you, maybe these slides are able to provide some clarity:
Essentially, what customers need to do is to pay the price tag mentioned under the devices shown and then proceed to pay the monthly fee. For example, you can obtain one iPhone 7 32GB and two more iPhone 6 32GB for RM 3,839 under First Platinum with GBShare plan as long as you then willing to pay additional RM 246 per month for the next 24 months.
According to Celcom, the GBShare with Family Devices plans will only be offered from 9 June to 31 July. More information will be revealed by the telco as we get close to the plans’ launch date but we suppose that the plan seems quite perfect for families that are plan to rock matching smartphones this coming Aidilfitri.
