ASUS didn’t hide the fact that it is launching a number of new devices at Computex 2017 and these three new ZenBook laptops are just several of them that are making their debut at Taipei. First in the list the ZenBook Flip S which the company has claimed as the thinnest convertible in the world.
This is due to its 10.9mm thickness and of course, the new convertible laptop is also quite light at 1.1kg. ZenBook Flip S also features 360-degrees ErgoLift hinge that apparently would lifts and tilts its keyboard when the laptop’s display is positioned at more than 135-degrees.
As for its display, the ZenBook Flip S can be obtained with up to 4K resolution and supports ASUS Pen active stylus that offers 1024 sensitivity levels. Comes complete with a fingerprint reader on its side, ASUS claimed that ZenBook Flip S has a battery life of up to 11.5 hours and its battery can be charged to 60% in just 49 minutes.
In terms of firepower, the ZenBook Flip S carries up to Intel Core i7-7500U processor although it will be made available with Intel Core i5 options as well. Users can also expect memory and storage options of up to 16GB of RAM, and 1TB PCIe 3.0 x4 solid state drive respectively.
Meanwhile, there is also the ZenBook 3 Deluxe which the company also claimed as the thinnest 14-inch laptop in the world at 12.9mm. Weighting at 1.1kg, what we are looking at here is yet another example of a 14-inch laptop in a 13-inch class chassis.
Aside from having a full HD resolution, the 14-inch display is also protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and ASUS claimed that ZenBook 3 Deluxe is the first laptop in the world to come with it. Battery-wise, ZenBook 3 Deluxe’s 46Whr 4-cell lithium-polymer battery is apparently able to provide operational time of up to 9 hours. Similar to ZenBook Flip S, the battery of this laptop can also be charged to 60% in 49 minutes.
Completing the new ZenBook line-up at Computex this year is the 15.6-inch ZenBook Pro. While still retaining the thin and light design language like the two new ZenBook we mentioned above although it is much thicker than others at 18.9mm, this particular model is made for users that require a little bit more performance.
Available with up to 4K resolution and touch option, the additional performance for ZenBook Pro comes in the form of either NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti or GTX 1050. Regardless of the GPU that users choose for their ZenBook Pro, it will feature the same 4GB GDDR5 VRAM.
