UPDATE: The price of HTC Desire 650 has now been revised.
Around November last year, the HTC Desire 650 which essentially an entry-level smartphone has made its debut in Taiwan. Now, the smartphone is finally available in Malaysia.
Despite having plastic body, one of the Desire 650’s much touted feature is its physical design. On the back of the phone, the upper half of the area was left empty while the lower half features grooved texture that designed to provide better grip to users.
Equipped with a 5-inch 720p IPS display, the Desire 650 is powered by a MediaTek MT6737T quad-core processor alongside 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The phone also features a 13-megapixels rear camera as well as 5-megapixel front camera.
The phone also comes with a 3,000mAh battery that provides it with up to 13.6 hours of talk time and 416.8 hours of standby time. Available immediately throughout Malaysia, the HTC Desire 650 is priced at RM 799 (over the weekend, HTC Malaysia informed us that the price of the phone has been revised to RM 619).
