Xiaomi has introduced a pair of new ANC earphones in China. Dubbed the Mi ANC & Type-C In-ear Earphones – yes, it’s a mouthful – these earphones feature active noise cancellation and a titanium body. Naturally, it’s priced competitively for what it has to offer too.
What makes Xiaomi’s latest earphones particularly interesting is the fact that it comes with ANC; it’s not a feature usually found on earphones at this price point. According to Xiaomi, these earphones support “50Hz – 2000Hz broadband active noise reduction.” The company mention that this makes it suitable for use in a variety of noisy environments.
Aside from that, the Mi Type-C earphones also sport an “iron ring acoustic architecture,” which is said to provide good audio quality. So much so, in fact, that these earphones actually received the Japanese Hi-Res Audio certification. Considering the fact that many of Xiaomi’s audio products are of high quality, this isn’t all that surprising.
The Mi ANC & Type-C In-ear Earphones are now available in China for 299 Chinese yuan – that comes up to about RM185. As usual, it remains to be seen if these ANC earphones will be sold officially here in Malaysia, though we imagine parallel importers will bring them here one way or another.
