Initially introduced at CES 2017, Xiaomi has finally launched the Xiaomi Mi TV 4 in China. As the Chinese company’s latest flagship TV, the Mi TV 4 is packed to the brim with some impressive hardware, and it carries very competitive price tags too.
The highlight feature of the Mi TV 4 is definitely its 4.9mm thin frame, which definitely gives the smart TV a very sleek side profile. Aside from that, the Mi TV 4 also sports a near bezel-less display.
Just like its predecessor, the Mi TV 4 is a modular TV: its motherboard is housed in the sound bar itself, which the company dubs the Mi TV bar. Speaking of sound bar, the 65-inch model of the Mi TV 4 supports Dolby Atmos too. On top of the 10 speakers integrated into the Mi TV bar, this top-end model also comes with two wireless rear satellite speakers and a subwoofer.
Three sizes of the Mi TV 4 are available: 49-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch. The 49-inch model retails at only 3,499 Chinese yuan (about RM2,190), while the 55-inch variant is priced at 3,999 yuan (approximately RM2,500). The top-of-the-line 65-inch Mi TV 4 with Dolby Atmos support, on the other hand, goes for 9,999 yuan – that’s about RM6,250.
