One of Sony Mobile’s main star at MWC 2017, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium is finally coming to Malaysia. While we already able to sniff its arrival through SIRIM listing, the company has now confirmed that it will be having a launch event for the new smartphone in Malaysia on 25 May via an invite that has just landed in our inbox.
Based on our initial experience with it at MWC 2017, the Xperia XZ Premium can easily be the most advanced smartphone that Sony has crafted. One of its main attraction is its Motion Eye rear camera that able to shoot at 960 frames per second, thanks to the camera’s 19-megapixels memory stacked Exmor RS image sensor as well as 5-axis image stabilization and f/2.0 G Lens.
Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor alongside 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage, the Xperia XZ Premium also features 5.5-inch 4K Triluminos display and support for HDR contents. It is also equipped with 13-megapixels Exmor RS sensor on its front camera and 3,230 mAh battery that supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology.
Based on these features alone, you are looking at a really high end smartphone which we believe will command equally premium price tag as well. To know more about that, stay tuned for official announcement on 25 May and don’t forget to check out our hands on with Xperia XZ Premium while waiting for that to happen.
