It has been rumored for quite some time that Microsoft is working on the successor to Surface Pro 4 which was originally launched in October 2015. We finally might able to see it very soon although leaked images suggested that we will be seeing a refresh model rather than a newly design model.
Thanks to well-known serial leaker Evan Blass a.k.a evleaks, these are our first look at the brand-new refresh model of Surface Pro 4. Said to be called simply as the Surface Pro, it looks exactly identical to the device that it going to replace very soon.
According to Evan, only the internal components of Surface Pro will be brand new. Hence, we expect to see at least 7th generation Intel Core processor in it. Being a refresh model, we not surprised that the I/O ports on the device remained the same.
Interestingly, he stated that Surface Pen and Type Cover will be made available as optional accessories which is rather weird as only the latter comes as optional for Surface Pro 4. Well then, let’s wait for the official confirmation from Microsoft which is expected to take place at its upcoming event in Shanghai on 23 May.
