Zotac has unveiled its version of the Nvidia GeForce GT 1030 graphics card. Comes with specifications that are almost similar to Nvidia’s reference design, Zotac also mentioned that the graphics card will be able to fit in 99% of PCs due to its small size.
When it comes to physical design, Zotac’s GT 1030 2GB isn’t fitted with all the bells and whistles that come with its GTX brothers. Instead, the graphics card is equipped with an all-black cooler shroud, which doesn’t cover the entire length of the PCB – and that’s pretty much it really.
Performance-wise, the Zotac GT 1030 2GB comes with base and boost clock speeds of 1227MHz and 1468MHz respectively. Memory clock speed is kept at a respectable speed of 1500MHz. Besides that, as its name indicates, the VRAM capacity of this graphics card is 2GB.
Display outputs include: one DisplayPort and HDMI 2.0 ports each. In addition, the TDP of Zotac’s GT 1030 2GB is rated at 30W which is not surprising to see that the graphics card isn’t equipped with a power connector port as it’ll draw power straight from the PCIe slot.
Meanwhile, Zotac has already made its GT 1030 2GB graphics card available in Malaysia through selected retailers. It comes with a handsome price tag of RM359 which could be something for consumers out there who are looking for an affordable Pascal-based graphics card.
