It looks like Zotac has yet another custom GTX 1080 Ti graphics card up its sleeve. This time round, it’s the company’s GTX 1080 Ti ArcticStorm, which comes fitted with a waterblock and backplate.
Being water-cooled means that Zotac’s GTX 1080 Ti ArcticStorm will boast impressive thermal performance. This, of course, means that consumers will get a card that’s quieter and cooler than most air-cooled custom GTX 1080 Ti graphics cards.
When it comes to performance, Zotac’s newest top of the line graphics card comes with base and boost clock speeds of 1506MHz and 1620MHz respectively. Meanwhile, the memory clock speed of the graphics card is left untouched at 11008MHz.
One rather interesting feature about Zotac’s GTX 1080 Ti ArcticStorm is the fact that the waterblock on this graphics card is LED-lit (RGB, of course). Zotac calls this illumination technology as “Spectra.” That aside, without being LED-lit, the graphics card comes with a rather minimalistic design.
Speaking of which, it should also be noted that a liquid cooling loop must be present on one’s system to be able to use the GTX 1080 Ti ArcticStorm. Dimensions of the graphics cards are 300mm x 148mm x 43.5mm. The graphics card will draw power via dual 8-pin power connectors.
Zotac Malaysia has announced that the GTX 1080 Ti ArcticStorm is currently available for pre-order. The launch date was not mentioned, oddly. As expected, this graphics card does come with a hefty price tag of RM4,299. Better start saving up if you’re interested.
