Windows Mixed Reality has huge presence at Build 2017, so it is not surprising that Microsoft has something to announce regarding it at the event. That comes in form of Window Mixed Reality Motion Controller.
According to the company, the new controller works according to the same inside-out tracking method as per Windows Mixed Reality headsets. Complete with six degrees of freedom, it works together with the sensors within those headsets.

It is not clear on who will be manufacturing the controller but it seems that Microsoft has set the specifications and designs for it although the headset will be marketed and sold by Microsoft partners instead. In fact, it was confirmed that Acer is one such partner who will be bundling its headset with the new controller.
However, Microsoft didn’t reveal the individual price tag for the controller though. Nevertheless, we do know that it will be coming to consumers during the year-end holiday season.
