It looks like more and more custom GT 1030 graphics cards are being leaked. This time round, leaks have begun to surface regarding upcoming low-end graphics cards from both MSI and Gigabyte. For those who aren’t aware: Nvidia’s GT 1030 can be seen as a direct competitor to Radeon’s new RX 550 graphics card.
The recent leak features three custom GT 1030 graphics card from MSI and two from Gigabyte. MSI’s lineup consists of the GeForce GT 1030 2GB Aero OC, GT 1030 2GB LP OC, and GT 1030 LP Passive OC graphics cards. Interestingly, all three upcoming graphics cards by MSI are actually rather small in size, which makes them perfect for small form factor PCs.
Next up are Gigabyte’s arsenal of custom GT 1030s. More specifically, the Gigabyte GeForce GT 1030 2GB LP and GT 1030 Silent LP. Similar to MSI, Gigabyte’s custom GT 1030 offerings are also low profile graphics cards. Aside from images and their respective names, key specifications of all five custom GT 1030 by MSI and Gigabyte were not detailed.
That said, we do expect all of them to come with clock speeds that are only slightly higher compared to the reference Nvidia GT 1030 graphics card. It’s not known when Nvidia intends to make its low-end Pascal-based graphics card offering official, but one’s best bet would probably be during Computex 2017.
