Valve is introducing the first ever co-op campaign for Dota 2; or at least it will when it arrives later this month. The only catch is that people who want to try the mode will have to buy the TI7 Battlepass; which has just gone on sale.
Siltbreaker takes four players on a journey to battle an ancient evil; which is about as cliched as it gets. That said, the adventure is set to arrive in two parts. Because even Valve wants to make the obvious joke about not being able to count to three.
Players will be able to earn campaign XP each time they play, which will in turn allow them to spin the Wheel of Rewards. This will drop extras like an exclusive Desert Sands baby Roshan. Players that reach Battle Level 165 with their Battlepass will also receive an XP booster to increase the amount of XP gained with each play through.
Aside from that, the Battle Pass does all the regular things that players expect. Including an all new terrain theme for the map. The Reef’s Edge will give the Dota 2 map an underwater theme.
Like before, the Battle Pass contributes 25 percent of its proceeds to The International Dota 2 Championship 2017 prize pool.
