Facebook first rolled out reactions for posts over a year ago. It then brought a similar feature to its Messenger app a little over a month ago, and now, the company is bringing reactions to the comments sections too.
The new feature is now available on the web version of Facebook. Just like reacting to posts, just hover over the “Like” button on a comment, and you will see the same six reactions – Like, Love, Haha, Wow, Sad, and Angry. Sadly though, unlike reactions on Facebook Messenger, you still don’t have the thumbs down reaction; there’s also no animation after you click a reaction button.
The Verge reports that reactions for comments starts rolling out today, so if you don’t see it yet, just wait and try again a little later. It is not available for mobile version of Facebook yet, so if you reacted to a comment on the desktop version, it will only appear as “liked” on your Facebook app.
