Another day, another custom GTX 1080 Ti reveal. This time round, EVGA has unveiled its newest graphics cards called the GTX 1080 Ti SC2 Hybrid. Staying true to its name, the graphics card features a ‘hybrid’ cooler (all in one).
Another interesting feature that comes with EVGA’s GTX 1080 Ti SC2 Hybrid is the company’s iCX Technology (more on that here). Besides that, EVGA has also equipped the VRM area of graphics card with “a dedicated heatsink/fan that keeps the power areas of the card cool.” This, of course, is to make sure that incidents like these doesn’t happen again.
That aside, when it comes to power, the EVGA GTX 1080 Ti SC2 doesn’t disappoint – at least on paper. More specifically, the graphics card comes with base and boost clock speeds of 1556MHz and 1670MHz respectively. That said, the memory clock speed is left untouched at 11008MHz.
Design-wise, one word to describe the looks of the GTX 1080 Ti SC2 would be ‘stealthy’. Speaking of which, being equipped with an AIO cooler means that the graphics card should boast impressive thermal performance. Unfortunately, the local price and date of availability of EVGA’s GTX 1080 Ti SC2 was not announced. Despite this, we do expect the graphics card to come with a rather hefty price tag.
