Biostar is the latest company to unveil its lineup of RX 500 series of graphics cards. In total, the company has announced three brand new graphics cards. These are the Biostar RX 580 8GB, RX 570 4GB and RX 570 4GB FPS Dual Cooling graphics cards.
Interestingly, both the RX 580 8GB and RX 570 4GB graphics cards by Biostar are identical to the reference cards released by Radeon – even their specifications. The RX 580 8GB comes with clock speeds of 1256MHz (base) and 1340MHz (boost). Meanwhile, the RX 570 4GB features base and boost clock speeds of 1168MHz and 1244MHz respectively.
The only ‘real’ custom RX 500 series model by Biostar, so far, is the RX 570 4GB FPS Dual Cooling. It comes with dual open air cooling fans along with a decent looking cooler shroud – no indication of any LED elements though. When it comes to performance, the graphics card comes with base and boost clock speeds of 1168MHz and 1244MHz respectively.
Unfortunately, the local pricing and date of availability for Biostar’s RX 580 8GB, RX 570 4GB and RX 570 4GB FPS Dual Cooling were not announced. Despite this, we do expect all three brand new graphics cards by Biostar to be priced quite attractively when they’re released.
