Corsair is the latest hardware manufacturer to unveil its custom GTX 1080 Ti. Dubbed as the Hydro GFX GTX 1080 Ti, Corsair’s newest graphics card comes with an AIO (all-in-one) liquid cooler. Interestingly, Corsair has also partnered up with PC hardware giant, MSI, to create the aforementioned graphics card.
According to Corsair, the cooling solution for the Hydro GFX GTX 1080 Ti was made by the company itself, while the overall design of the graphics card was made by MSI. Speaking of which, the cooling solution of this AIO graphics card comprises of Corsair’s Hydro Series liquid cooling and ‘magnetic levitation airflow’ – which sounds pretty fancy.
When it comes to the actual specifications, Corsair’s Hydro GFX GTX 1080 Ti doesn’t disappoint. Like other high-end graphics cards in the market, Corsair’s newest card also comes with several clock speed presets. To be more specific, the graphics card comes with three clock speed presets: OC mode, Gaming mode, and Silent mode.
In silent mode, the Hydro GFX GTX 1080 Ti is able to churn out base and boost clock speeds of 1480MHz and 1582MHz respectively. Meanwhile, the ‘highest’ preset, OC mode, supercharges the clock speeds of the graphics card to 1506MHz (base) and 1620MHz (boost). In addition, clock speeds will also vary depending on the selected preset, but not by much.
Unfortunately, the local price and date of availability of Corsair’s Hydro GFX GTX 1080 Ti was not mentioned.
