The Xiaomi Mi Mix was definitely one of the most impressive-looking smartphones released last year, and naturally, other phone makers seem to have…taken inspiration from it. Doogee, for one, has unveiled the Doogee Mix, and it looks almost like the Mi Mix, only with the addition of a home button and a glass back instead of ceramic.
Much like the Mi Mix, the Doogee Mix has an impressive bezel-less display; a 5.5-inch 1080p AMOLED display, to be specific. In comparison to the Mi Mix – which had a huge 6.4-inch display – the Doogee Mix’s smaller display should make it a more manageable phone to use with one hand.
Aside from that, the Doogee Mix is…not quite as powerful as the Mi Mix. Doogee’s bezel-less smartphone features a MediaTek Helio P25 processor paired with 4GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, a 3,500mAh battery, and a 16MP + 8MP dual-camera system; there’s also a 5MP front-facing shooter placed – you guessed it – at the bottom bezel of the phone.
At the time of this writing, there’s no information yet on the price or availability of the Doogee Mix. Chances are, it will only be sold in China like the Xiaomi Mi Mix, but it’s worth noting that Doogee does have a presence here in Malaysia.
