Nokia’s range of smartphones – and one feature phone – are expected to be launched in Malaysia sometime this quarter, and we may just have the Malaysian retail prices of the Nokia 6 and Nokia 3310 already. That is, if a recent leak is to be believed.
According to Mdroid, the Nokia 6 will be available in two variants in Malaysia: the standard model with 32GB of storage and 3GB of RAM, as well as the limited edition Arte Black variant, which has double the storage at 64GB and 4GB of RAM. The regular Nokia 6 will apparently go for RM899, while the Arte Black model carries a RM1,299 price tag.
What’s even more interesting is the new Nokia 3310’s alleged price tag: Mdroid mention that the feature phone will retail at RM189 locally, which is a pretty decent price tag. While these leaked retail prices are certainly interesting, it’s worth noting that this information did not come from an official source – as far as we can tell, of course.
Nonetheless, it’ll be interesting to see if these are in fact the actual retail prices of the Nokia 6 and Nokia 3310 in Malaysia. Considering the fact that the Nokia 6 offers a pure Android experience, the RM899 price tag for the base model does sound rather compelling.
