With the official announcement of AMD Radeon RX 500 last night, several manufacturers have unveiled their take on the new graphics cards. In fact, some of them already made their way into Malaysia which is why we thought that it is now a good time to take a quick look at them.
ASUS
As expected, ASUS has positioned its top-of-the-line Radeon RX 500 cards under the ROG Strix series. At the moment, the company mainly focuses on the Strix RX 580 and RX 570 but the Taiwanese giant has also planned to release a Radeon RX 550 very soon.
GIGABYTE
Similarly, GIGABYTE’s top-of-the-line RX 500 cards are also positioned under its enthusiasts-oriented series, AORUS. That being said, the company will still offer non-AORUS branded RX 580 and RX 570 to consumers. GIGABYTE has also committed to release Radeon RX 550 soon.
MSI
For MSI fans, they have the option to obtain their Radeon RX 580 and RX 570 cards with either Twin Frozr VI or Armor thermal solutions. The company also planned to release a Radeon RX 550 under its Aero series later in the year.
Sapphire
Being an AMD Radeon exclusive manufacturer, we are not surprised to see plenty of Radeon RX 500 cards coming from Sapphire. Just image: the company already listed five Radeon RX 580 and four Radeon RX 570 card for RX 500 launch alone. We were also informed that the company has at least two RX 550 in the pipeline.
Power Color
Also an AMD Radeon exclusive manufacturer, Power Color has prepare two RX 580 cards and another RX 570 card under its signature Red Devil series. For those that planning to obtain RX 550 from Power Color, keep a look for the card under the company’s Red Dragon label later in the year.
All in all, there are certainly no short of options for consumers when it comes to the Radeon RX 500 graphics cards. As mentioned earlier, some of these cards already arrived in Malaysia, so stay tuned for our take on their pricing coming your way soon.
