Being one of Samsung’s most successful Note series device, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is finally receiving the Android 7.0 Nougat update. The long awaited update was made available to Malaysians on the 18th of April 2017.
Transitioning from Android Marshmallow to Android Nougat, the update offers a slew of new features. Aesthetics wise, the Galaxy Note 5 now features a more organised look with a cleaner notification bar. There’s also a change in how notifications are being shown on the device.
Apart from that, Android Nougat also introduces new security features to the Galaxy Note 5, on top of the additional menu to an app’s icon, app’s grid size change, and blue light filter.
For those of you who own the Galaxy Note 5, you can check your device’s settings to see if the update is available via over-the-air (OTA) for you. Let us know if you’re happy with the changes that Android 7.0 brought to your Galaxy Note 5.
