Johor Darul Ta’zim Football Club (JDT) shouldn’t be a foreign name to local football fans but for those who are not into football, JDT has the reputation as the biggest football club in Malaysia at the moment. The club has now joined the elite list of football club that have their own special edition smartphone with the launch of EXMobile Ola JDT last weekend.
Comes with a 5-inch 720p display, the Ola JDT is running on a 1.3GHz MediaTek MTK6737 quad-core processor alongside 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage. Pre-installed with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, it also support microSD card with storage of up to 32GB.
In terms of photography, the phone’s camera is equipped with 5-megapixels sensor that produces up to 8-megapixels image through interpolation technique. The same technique is also used for the 2-megapixels sensor in Ola JDT’s front camera in order for it to come out with 5-megapixels images.
Complete with JDT logo on its back, the Ola JDT is also equipped with fingerprint sensor and a 2000mAh battery. From the specifications, the Ola JDT might seems similar to many entry-level smartphones out there but then again, we suppose that die-hard JDT fans would still be proud to have a special edition smartphone from their club rather than worrying about the phone’s specs.
Meanwhile, JDT fans don’t really have to go all the way to the team’s home ground in Stadium Larkin Johor Bharu in order to get their hands on the new EXMobile Ola JDT phone. Priced at RM 599, the phone is now available at selected EXMobile dealers throughout Malaysia.
