Made for selfie lovers, the imminent arrival of OPPO A57 in Malaysia was confirmed by OPPO earlier this month. In a rather interesting move though, it turns out the Celcom First postpaid customers will be able to get their hands on the new smartphone much earlier than everyone else.
Starting tomorrow onwards, such customers are able to purchase the new smartphone from the telco’s Blue Cube and selected partners throughout the country. According to Celcom, that’s two weeks ahead of the phone’s roll out to OPPO’s own stores.
Celcom further added that the OPPO A57 which is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 and also features 16-megapixels front camera can be obtained for free by signing up to Celcom First Platinum postpaid plan. Alternatively, customers can also opt to purchase the smartphone for RM 399 if they choose to sign up for First Gold Plus plan.
Thanks to the joint announcement by Celcom and OPPO, we now know that the official retail price for OPPO A57 is RM 1,099. As mentioned above, expect to see the phone to be available more widely through OPPO Concept Stores by end of this month.
