Initially unveiled back in December last year, Naughty Dog just released new information on Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. Starring fan favourite Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross, this Uncharted spin-off is set to be unveiled in August; it’ll also be a “true Uncharted game.”
Unveiled alongside this announcement is a new trailer for The Lost Legacy. According to Naughty Dog, the trailer below is a scene from early on in the game. It shows Chloe and Nadine figuring out the clues leading to the treasure they’re tracking down: the Tusk of Ganesh.
Set to take place after the events of Uncharted 4, The Lost Legacy will be a “true Uncharted game.” It will come with “its own deep narrative with complex character development, all-new destinations, refined gameplay, and blockbuster cinematic moments,” Naughty Dog said.
As for length, The Lost Legacy will be longer than The Last of Us’ Left Behind DLC, which was already a lengthy title to begin with. Chances are, we can expect this Uncharted spin-off to be close to a full game’s length. After all, it retails at $39.99 (about RM175) in the US.
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy will be released on 22 August 2017. Those who pre-order the game on the PlayStation Store will receive Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy for free too, although the pre-order page isn’t up yet on the Malaysian PlayStation Store.
